Hasn't this rainy weather been lovely? It smells so good!
When I was a teenager, a good friend of mine used to say that when it rained it smelled like 'wet dirt'. I didn't really agree with her until years later when Ben, Melanie, and I moved to Vancouver, WA. When it rained there it didn't smell like anything. But here in this beautiful desert....ahhhh, lovely!
Besides, I don't have to wash my car anymore - the rain did it for me! Thanks, rain!

yeah, in Seattle it rarely had a smell either.
I love rain. I love how it smells, how it sounds, how it cools everything. Aaaahhhh. I guess that's why I like living in a desert; rain doesn't happen every day, it doesn't get old, it's refreshing. Aaaahhhh.
